Neema is journalist currently based in Washington, D.C., where she is deputy editor of The Lily at The Washington Post.

Before joining The Washington Post, she worked at NPR member station WHYY as a community editor.

Her work has appeared on NPR, PRI’s The World, NewsWorks/WHYY, Kiplinger, CNBC and NJBIZ.

Neema graduated from Rutgers University with a dual-degree in journalism and economics, and credits her love of news to her days on the college paper.

She likes self-guided walking tours, waffles and downloading more podcasts than she could ever listen to.
